At SpotOn, every day is a great day to help local restaurants. From hospitality specialists, to our implementation team, to our product team connecting with real-life operators to develop the restaurant technology they need to run their business. March 15, 2026 was a particularly good day to support the food service community. SpotOn volunteered at Giving Kitchen's annual fundraiser, Team Hidi, jumping in to make food service workers' lives easier—distributing linens, hauling buckets of ice, even surprising food service workers with a raffle during Family Meal.

Since 2013, Giving Kitchen has provided more than $16 million in emergency financial assistance and stability resources to over 35,000 food service workers—offering hope, dignity, and a way forward when life knocks them down. In 2025, SpotOn announced a partnership with Giving Kitchen, which includes amplifying Giving Kitchen's mission and direct financial support to the organization.
For the SpotOn team, the mission is personal. "SpotOn comes from the hospitality industry," says Hospitality Specialist Kay Stilb. "We know the struggle that restaurants are going through, we've lived it, we've been there, we know back-of-house, the front-of-house, and it makes my job easier having all that real-world experience."

Area Sales Manager Don Pirone volunteered alongside his sales team, eager to give back and reconnect with the familiar faces of the Atlanta restaurant community in service of such a meaningful cause.
"I walk around Team Hidi and see people that I worked with 10 years ago. Just to see the community come together to support this wonderful organization — I feel so much pride to be involved in it," says Don.
