SpotOn and Major League Baseball Stadiums Welcome Back Fans This Spring

As fans return to Major League Baseball games kicking off April 1, 2021, they can expect safe and convenient experiences like never before. Los Angeles Dodgers, Dodger Stadium.

In 2020, Dodger Stadium underwent a $130 million renovation, which included upgrading their current POS with SpotOn.

When the stadium reopens, guests can expect to use SpotOn point-of-sale devices, mobile tablets, and self-service kiosks. With the SpotOn integration to Postmates, Dodger fans can use the Postmates app from their phone to order food and beverage for pickup throughout the ballpark.

Oakland Athletics, RingCentral Coliseum.

Partnering with SpotOn, RingCentral Coliseum offers enterprise point-of-sale software and mobile tablets throughout the renowned coliseum.

As the host (up until 2020) to two major league teams, SpotOn showcased its multi-client enterprise management and reporting capabilities.  

Minnesota Twins, Target Field.

Target Field took advantage of SpotOn’s online ordering software for luxury suites, effectively outfitting the entire stadium with SpotOn point-of-sale devices and mobile tablets, as well as kitchen display systems for staff.

New York Yankees, Yankee Stadium.

SpotOn provides over 600 mobile point-of-sale systems throughout the iconic Yankee Stadium, as well as in-seat ordering. The Yankees also use SpotOn’s integration to Postmates, which allows fans to order food and beverage from their Postmates app on their phone to SpotOn’s kitchen management solutions.

Texas Rangers, Globe Life Field

The Texas Rangers began their relationship with SpotOn in 2017 by deploying self-service kiosks in its former ballpark. After the self-service success, the popular MLB team outfitted its new ballpark, Globe Life Field, with SpotOn’s full suite of omnichannel ordering solutions.

Red Sox, Fenway Park.

At Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, Red Sox fans can check out SpotOn point-of-sale devices in all concessions, portable stands, suites, clubs, and restaurants areas, as well as mobile tablets for in-seat ordering.

St. Louis Cardinals, Busch Stadium.

At Busch Stadium, home to the St. Louis Cardinals, SpotOn powers all transactions across concessions with contactless point-of-sale software and self-service kiosks.

Cleveland Indians, Progressive Field.
