Similar to third-party apps, GoTo Place is free for consumers to download the app and create a user account. The big difference is how it works for restaurants. GoTo Place only lists SpotOn clients using SpotOn Order. SpotOn Order clients are automatically listed on the app with a direct sync to their online menu, as well as their loyalty rewards, waitlist, and reservations if using SpotOn for those services. SpotOn does NOT charge per-order commissions, helping restaurants reduce costs and keep pricing affordable for guests. Additionally, restaurants own their customer data, giving them better insights about their business and guest habits. Lastly, GoTo Place does not promote competing restaurants. Rather, the app highlights the restaurant’s own branding and menu, functioning as a white-labelled app for the restaurant and their guests.

GoTo Place allows guests to order both takeout and delivery, with delivery via the DoorDash Drive integration. This integration provides commission-free, flat-rate food delivery at affordable prices while leveraging DoorDash’s reliable network of drivers. Restaurants can choose to cover the flat delivery fee cost or pass on all or part of the delivery fees to customers.

The GoTo Place ordering app is included at no extra cost with SpotOn Order, our commission-free online ordering system, which costs $55/month plus a $200 set up fee. GoTo Place also syncs with SpotOn Loyalty, enabling your guests to earn rewards, and with SpotOn Reserve, enabling your guests to book a table right from the app.

Absolutely. When you sign up with both SpotOn Order and SpotOn Loyalty, guests can earn loyalty points and redeem rewards right within the app when placing an online order for takeout or delivery. The loyalty program also works in store in conjunction with SpotOn POS.

Yes! When you sign up with SpotOn Reserve, guests can add themselves to your waitlist or reserve a table in advance right from the app.

Use the search function to find restaurants by name or browse by location near you. Once you've found your restaurant, browse their menu, select your meals, and request any special instructions during checkout. You can save your favorite orders for quick reordering and choose a convenient pickup time. Wait times are displayed before you complete your order, and you'll receive notifications when your food is ready.

You can contact restaurants directly through the app if you have questions about your meals or pickup orders. Restaurant contact information is available on each location's profile page. If there's an issue with your order, reach out to the restaurant to request a refund or resolution. You can also save time by checking the app for order status updates and estimated wait times.
