FAQ

SpotOn’s preferred integrations are built on advanced CAPIs that ensure they work seamlessly with your SpotOn tools without adding unnecessary complexity to your operation. They provide unified data and insights so you can make faster, more accurate business decisions. And they’re faster and easier to set up. In short, SpotOn and our preferred integration partners work hand-in-hand to help you run your operation more efficiently and profitably.

Existing SpotOn clients can visit the Marketplace from within their SpotOn Dashboard to browse and sign up for most of our preferred third-party software integrations. Restaurants signing up for a new account with SpotOn should discuss their integration needs with their SpotOn Hospitality Specialist to ensure suitability and that the integration is built into your onboarding process.

Unlike other popular restaurant point-of-sale providers, SpotOn does not charge a blanket fee to access third-party integrations. You will, however, need to set up an account with the third-party and pay the software fees associated with their solution. Also, if you opt out of SpotOn’s Core Bundle, there is a small monthly fee to access third-party marketplaces. When possible, SpotOn negotiates the best rates possible with our Preferred Partners to pass savings on to you.

No. An open API would mean that any software developer could integrate with SpotOn solutions. Not only does this open the door to quality issues, it floods restaurant operators with too many options to sort through and choose from. SpotOn only integrates with handpicked software providers that provide the highest quality, operational efficiency, and value to restaurants.
